Whitney Wu-Chu

Whitney Wu-Chu joined Clapp Moroney as an associate in August 2023 and is a member of the firm's General Liability Practice Group. Her practice includes personal injury, premises liability, and other general civil matters. Prior to joining the firm, Whitney worked for a general civil litigation firm and spent time at a small plaintiff's employment litigation firm focused on wage-and-hour cases. She was also a clinical data coordinator at a clinical research organization supporting clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas.

Whitney earned her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law. She received her Dr.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from the New York Medical College and her B.S. in Conservation and Resource Studies from University of California, Berkeley.

During law school, Whitney served on multiple student organization boards, including the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Environmental Law Society. She was an editor of the Environmental Law Journal and a member of the National Environmental Law Moot Court team.

Whitney is licensed to practice law in California, New York, New Jersey, and Washington DC (inactive status). She is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of the Bay Area and Alameda County Bar Association.
