Trevor J. Howard

Trevor J. Howard joined the firm in 2017 and is a Partner at Clapp Moroney. Trevor is a member of the general civil liability practice group with a track record of success in products liability, premises liability, construction, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, bankruptcy, employment, and corporate lawsuits, among others. Trevor's clients range from Fortune 500 corporations to individuals.

Trevor also has extensive experience in environmental and regulatory matters with a focus on environmental compliance including energy, water, wildfire, biotechnology, and land use issues on behalf of private, public, and corporate entities. This includes ESA, CESA, CEQA, SGMA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, land use, energy siting and transmission, endangered species, agriculture, cannabis, tribal, fisheries, and other California regulatory and other environmental issues.

Trevor is licensed to practice law in all California State Courts. He is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Trevor earned his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. He holds certificates in Environmental Law & Public Interest Law. He is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the American Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the San Mateo County Bar Association.
