Kory L. Phillips

Kory L. Phillips joined Clapp, Moroney, Vucinich, Beeman & Scheley in 2001 after serving as an associate for a San Jose litigation firm where he primarily handled the defense of construction related actions, personal injury actions and employment issues. He became a partner with Clapp, Moroney in 2008. Since joining Clapp, Moroney, Kory has specialized in construction defect litigation representing developers, general contractors and subcontractors throughout Northern California. Kory specializes in the relationship of insurance to construction-related matters including obligations to defend, indemnity issues and pre-litigation claim procedures.

Kory received his B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in 1994 and his J.D. in 1997 from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. Kory was admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of California in 1997. Kory is a member of the California State Bar, ADC and the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
