Jesmin N. Alam
Jesmin Alam is a senior trial attorney in the Pleasanton office of Clapp, Moroney, Vucinich, Beeman & Scheley, P.C. She joined the firm in November of 2021. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, with a minor in Accounting. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1998 from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she was member of the U.C. Davis Law Review and the U.C. Davis Moot Court Board.
Jesmin is an experienced 25 year civil litigation attorney whose practice to date has focused upon general insurance defense, including business and commercial litigation, general liability litigation, defense of personal injury and premises liability actions, construction defect litigation, trucking litigation, employment litigation, defense of medical malpractice matters, public entity defense and appeals. Ms. Alam has briefed and argued cases with the Third District Court of Appeals in Sacramento. Ms. Alam has also defended clients in trial.
Ms. Alam's primary areas of emphasis at Clapp Moroney encompass general civil litigation, including general insurance defense, construction defect defense, defense of personal injury cases, and premises liability defense.
Ms. Alam's representative clients include various business entities, insurance companies, and individuals involved in legal disputes.
In her limited spare time, Ms. Alam enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
