Cleve is a Partner within Clapp Moroney's General Liability Group. Prior to joining Clapp Moroney, Cleve practiced civil litigation with a law firm in San Francisco which specialized in construction defect. He also practiced civil litigation with a firm in Oakland which specialized in insurance coverage defense as well as environmental toxic torts and asbestos litigation. Since joining Clapp Moroney as an associate in 2018, Cleve has specialized in general liability, environmental toxic torts, and asbestos litigation representing individuals and companies throughout California.
Cleve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School and his Masters in Business Administration from Hult International Business School. He recently received his Master of Laws (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University.
During law school, Cleve served as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association as well as the Sergeant at Arms of his school's law fraternity, Delta Theta Phi.
Cleve is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is a member of the following: American Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the San Mateo County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association (AABA) of the Greater Bay Area and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
