Michael N. Smith

Michael Smith is an Associate Attorney within Clapp Moroney's general civil liability practice group. Michael's practice includes personal injury, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Trial Practice Honors Board and completed internships with the Solano County Office of the Public Defender and Congresswoman Jackie Speier.

Prior to law school, Michael served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for four years. Michael and the Marines under his command received numerous awards and other recognition while deployed overseas with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2018 and for their performance while conducting humanitarian and disaster relief operations in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands following Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in 2017.
