Jalila D. Jallab
Jalila D. Jallab is an Associate Attorney within Clapp Moroney's General Civil Liability Practice Group, focusing on premises liability, landlord-tenant disputes, and motor vehicle accidents.
Jalila earned her Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she graduated with distinction. While in law school, she earned her concentration in Trial Advocacy, as well Honors while serving two editorial positions with the University of the Pacific Law Review. In her final year of law school, Jalila worked as a Certified Student Attorney at McGeorge's Federal Defender Clinic. There, she represented dozens of indigent clients in federal misdemeanor cases out of the Eastern District of California and homed in her skillset in oral advocacy, negotiation, trial techniques, and litigation. While working in the Federal Defenders Office, she chaired a jury trial which culminated in a victory for the defense.
Prior to law school, she earned her bachelor's degrees in political science and Russian from the University of California, Davis. She later dedicated herself to nonprofit work which led her to living abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.
