Andrew K. Murphy

Andrew Murphy joined Clapp Moroney in 2012, and is a member of the Firm's construction law group. Prior to joining Clapp Moroney, Andrew worked at other Bay Area law firms, where he defended various entities, including Fortune 500 companies, in the areas of products liability, toxic torts, premises liability, and employment law.

Andrew graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Political Science and Japanese, and was on the Dean's List all four years. During college, Andrew spent a year abroad studying at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2008, where he graduated in the top third of his class. During law school Andrew externed for the Honorable Jeremy Fogel at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Andrew has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for Northern California from 2013 through 2016.

Andrew is admitted to practice in California and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts. Andrew actively volunteers in his community and is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association.
